I am a music lover. Always have been and always will be. From when I was a little kid making horrible sounds on a trumpet to now, making horrible sounds on my guitar or with my vocal cords as I try and create my music.
This weekend I was fortunate enough to attend the Governor’s Ball music festival in NYC. I purchased the tickets long before we decided to abandon the ‘real’ world and enjoy the freedom of the open road. The tickets were pretty expensive and I thought about selling them to help us save but I’m glad I didn’t. This will probably be my last excursion before the big trip but it was well worth it. So many incredible artists and performances from big names like Outkast and Foster the People to lesser known groups like Banks and The Internet.
All performers were top notch and it was an incredible weekend to help me deal with the departure of my Van-nomad partner (aka Wander Woman…she wanted superhero names).
She flew out to Ghana and will then be moving on to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago. So, look forward to some incredible stories and photos of her adventures soon.
